Construction sector 'experiencing a recruitment rise'
There has been a significant rise in the number of new positions being created in the recruitment sector, according to one industry expert.
Duncan MacAskill, a partner at KPMG, stated that the construction industry is enjoying buoyancy at the moment, with hiring managers in search of employees for new developments as firms emerge from the economic downturn.
His comments follow the publication of the latest Recruitment and Employment Confederation and KPMG Report on Jobs, which showed that the most in-demand category for both types of staff was engineering and construction.
"Surprisingly, engineering and construction is the sector where staff were most in demand, an indication of a sustained recovery in the manufacturing sector," Mr MacAskill explained.
It follows a prediction from Martin Warnes, managing director of reed.co.uk, who said that companies in the manufacturing sector are gradually preparing for future growth as recruitment picks up and hiring managers within the sector are becoming more active.
The Aaron Wallis Construction and M&E finance team offer many construction finance jobs across the sector. For employers Aaron Wallis offer a construction finance recruitment service that offers 12 month rebate and psychometric profiling within a single fixed recruitment price.
