New green scheme is a dream for sales jobs
A new initiative could give a boost to finance jobs in the engineering and construction sectors if it is given the green light by the government.
People looking for finance jobs could benefit from the UK Green Building Council proposals which suggest households are able to access £10,000 of financing for eco-friendly home improvements.
The plan means that homeowners would be pay back the money over 25 years, meaning an upfront payment would not be needed.
Paul King, chief executive of the organisation, said: "This innovative proposal would provide the finance to trigger a revolution in household refurbishment, creating thousands of new jobs and significantly cutting carbon emissions."
The proposal was designed to improve the government's Pay As You Save scheme which was first tabled in July this year.
Construction finance jobs were recently bolstered by a Labour scheme to support companies that are building new houses by providing £1 billion in funding.
The Aaron Wallis Construction and M&E finance team offers a wide range of construction finance jobs across the sector, including specification finance jobs. For employers Aaron Wallis offer a construction finance recruitment service that includes psychometric profiling and skills testing and is backed by a 12 month rebate scheme.
